Kisspeptin-10 is a 10-amino-acid fragment of the parent kisspeptin peptide. Acts as a master regulator of the hypothalamic-pituitary-gonadal axis through GnRH neuron stimulation.

How It Works

Activates GPR54 (KISS1R) receptors on GnRH neurons in the hypothalamus, driving pulsatile GnRH release. The natural upstream regulator of reproductive endocrinology.

Mechanism & evidence - the honest frame
Evidence frame: kisspeptin is the natural upstream trigger of the reproductive axis - it activates KISS1R on hypothalamic GnRH neurons, driving GnRH → LH/FSH → downstream testosterone/estrogen. The physiology is well-established and it is an active area of reproductive-endocrinology research (fertility, hypothalamic amenorrhoea, HPG evaluation). Honest status: human use is largely INVESTIGATIONAL - there is no approved kisspeptin product, and most data is research/early-clinical rather than large outcome trials. The theoretical concern that sustained or supraphysiologic exposure could blunt the axis (receptor desensitisation) is mechanistically plausible but not well-characterised in humans; it is a reason for physician-determined, pulsatile/cyclical use, not a self-managed protocol. Vivre presents this as endocrine-axis physiology, not a libido performance product.

Kisspeptin-10 Is a Potent Stimulator of LH and Increases Pulse Frequency in Men

Kisspeptin-10 boluses potently evoke LH secretion in men (~2.5-fold rise from baseline); continuous infusion increased testosterone, LH pulse frequency and pulse size. Notably, at the physiological dose used, no desensitisation was seen over 22.5h - in contrast to higher-dose continuous primate infusions. Establishes kisspeptin as an upstream HPG-axis regulator with therapeutic potential.

Effects of Kisspeptin on Sexual Brain Processing and Penile Tumescence in Men With Hypoactive Sexual Desire Disorder: A Randomized Clinical Trial

Randomised, placebo-controlled crossover, 37 men with HSDD (32 completed). IV kisspeptin-54 significantly modulated brain activity in sexual-processing networks and increased penile tumescence vs placebo - without changing testosterone or cortisol in the 75-min window, supporting a central desire effect distinct from a hormonal one.

Human kisspeptin data is real and from quality groups, but use is investigational - there is no approved kisspeptin product, the native peptide has a very short half-life (kisspeptin-10 ~minutes), and most data is acute physiological/early-clinical rather than long-term outcome trials. Vivre frames it as endocrine-axis physiology, not a libido product.
